There is a thick flame stabilizing grid that covers the cooking area preventing flare-ups. It also guarantees even heat without any hot or cold spots. The heat zone separators allow you to sear on high heat above one burner while cooking on a lower heat with the next burner.

Blaze Premium LTE vs Professional LUX – What’s The Difference?

The price difference between the Blaze Premium LTE and Professional LUX models is quite big.

So what are you getting if you choose a more expensive Professional LUX grill?

You can get some clue by looking at how much each grill weighs — 183 lbs (Premium LTE above) compared to 315 lbs (Pro LUX).

Yeah, you guessed right, the Pro models are built thicker and more durable.

Here is a detailed look at the differences between these two product lines:

  • Burners: Pro has bigger and heavier H-shaped burners with 18,000 BTUs each vs 14,000 BTU burners on LTE models.
  • Ignition: Pro has individual backup flash tubes on each burner.
  • Flame Tamers: Pro has heavier 12-gauge stainless flame tamers vs 14-gauge on LTE.
  • Grill Grates: 12 mm hexagonal rods on Pro vs 9 mm triangular on the LTE.
  • Rotisserie Kit: Included in Pro models and sold separately for LTE models.
  • Temp Gauge: Pro shows two readings, grill ambient temp and grill surface temp.
  • Cart: Pro comes with a mostly pre-assembled cart that has 2 drawers and a door, while the LTE cart needs assembly and has 2 doors.
  • Side Shelves: Pro has foldable side shelves that are bigger vs fixed on LTE.

Below is a great video that explains the differences between Blaze Premium LTE vs Pro grills in more detail. It will also describe how these grills are built and what makes them so special.

Blaze Outdoor Products: LTE grills v Pro grills. Which one is right for you?

Blaze Premium LTE 30-Inch Gas Griddle Review (Freestanding & Built-In)

If you like cooking breakfast outdoors, the Blaze Premium LTE griddle might just be the best option for you. Of course, it can handle the burgers, steaks, and hot dogs too.

Another thing is that when you are building a complete outdoor kitchen, you might want to have a separate griddle in addition to a gas grill. This flat-top grill is available as a freestanding or built-in configuration.

The griddle is fun to use, easy to clean and has a stainless steel lid that protects it when not in use. If you like flat top grills, then this is probably the best you can find!

  • Versatile
  • Great for cooking breakfast

Blaze 21-Inch Electric Grill Review (Tabletop & Freestanding & Built-In)

Some grillmasters might frown on electric grills and tell you it’s not possible to cook tasty food with them. But I can bet they never tried the Blaze electric grill!

This unit gets hot enough to give you a proper sear, and the flame tamers under the heating element vaporize drippings for a more authentic barbecue flavor. And you can use this grill even on balconies and patios where open flame is not allowed.

Blaze 21-Inch Electric Grill

Note: The above links are for the tabletop version, but you can also choose a freestanding or built-in configuration.

Specifications:

  • Wattage: 1500
  • Primary Grilling Area (sq.in): 274
  • Warming Rack Area (sq.in): 79
  • Weight: 228 lbs
  • Build Materials: 304 stainless steel
  • Dimensions: 32″ x 28″ x 36.25″ (W x D x H)
  • Warranty: Lifetime warranty for all stainless steel components and a 1-year warranty for heating element and ignition components

Blaze puts a lot of effort into product quality and brand image — they don’t want to tarnish it with any mediocre products. And this electric grill completely lives up to what you can expect from a Blaze grill.

The cooking performance of this grill is excellent, thanks to the powerful heating element and the grill grates made with triangular 9 mm stainless steel rods.

Using the Blaze electric grill is very straightforward, and the smart design makes cleaning effortless.

Most drippings are vaporized when they hit the flame tamers, and what’s left will flow into the pull-out grease tray. You can flip the heating element up to remove and clean the flame tamers.

To make things safe, this grill is water resistant, has a built-in 60-minute timer with automatic shut-off, and comes with a 7,5-foot power cord that has a built-in GFCI breaker.

What We Love

  • Gets hot enough for searing
  • Easy and fast to clean
  • Comes with a long power cord
  • Water-resistant design

Blaze 20-Inch Kamado Grill Review

Blaze has an interesting take on the kamado — made entirely out of cast aluminum, this shiny grill and smoker is great for both high heat searing and cooking low ‘n slow.

Blaze 20-Inch Kamado Grill

Note: The above links are for the kamado grill only, but you can also choose to buy it with a regular or deluxe cart (just choose the configuration you want on BBQGuys online store).

Specifications:

  • Fuel Type: Charcoal
  • Cooking Area (sq.in): 400
  • Weight: 161 lbs
  • Build Materials: 304 stainless steel
  • Dimensions: 21.87″ x 21.87″ x 33.87″ (W x D x H)
  • Warranty: Lifetime

The Blaze kamado is built for ultimate durability. Made with thick cast aluminum, it’s easy to clean and doesn’t corrode — this grill is virtually indestructible.

Even the gasket that is often the weakest part in kamados has been eliminated and replaced by a cast-in tongue-and-groove seal on the lid.

Kamado grills are excellent at retaining heat, and controlling airflow is critical for keeping things smooth. The Blaze kamado has excellent vents and dampers to make this task easy.

The Blaze kamado has sturdy 12 mm cooking grates and comes with an additional smaller grate that can be used nearer the heat. The removable ash pan makes cleaning a breeze.

Blaze also has a rotisserie kit designed for this kamado (sold separately).

The only reason not to get this grill is if you want things easy — using a kamado requires some time and effort.

What We Love

  • Great for both grilling and slow smoking
  • Excellent heat retention
  • Spring-assisted hinge makes opening the lid easy
  • Almost indestructible
  • Comes with protective cooking gloves
  • Lifetime warranty on all parts

What We Don’t

  • Takes more effort to use than gas grills

Check our guide with a comparison of Lion vs Blaze grills for more great options.

Are you still wondering if it makes sense to pay thousands of dollars for a grill?

Yes, it does, if you want a rig with top-notch cooking performance!

Also, how long does a gas grill last depends largely on the materials used to build it. And Blaze grills are generally made with high-quality stainless steel that will not rust or warp easily.

I hope this guide has helped you with finding the best possible grill for your needs.

Have a great barbecue!
